Inquiry:  Where might be the best location for these belugas to go?

Activity: Collecta data regarding the Marineland belugas and create a spatial journal to highlight where they were collected from and where they end up. Examine how belugas were treated at Marineland and the ideal format for treating the whales. Develop an action plan regarding how the belugas should be able to live out the rest of their lives. Create a story map to communicate your findings.

Activity: Collect data on Canadian relations with Israel. Collect information on how Canada reacted or acted to other genocides that have taken place: Rwanda and Srebrenica for wxample. Investigate what the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide says. Create a spatial journal to highlight the location of these and potential genocides. Is there a pattern? Does spatial significance play a part? Conduct an issue analysis of the stakeholders involved in the Gaza genocide. Design a possible action plan that may help bring peace to the region. Communicate, using story map, to an appropriate audience.

Activity: Collect data on the projects that have been approved: LNG, Nuclear Power, Port Expansion, Copper Mine, Mine Expansion. Create a spatial journal to indicate where these projects will be taking place to understand the spatial significance of the project. Conduct an issue analysis to gain perspective of the stakeholders and help develop a possible next steps for people, community, and the environment. Create a story map to communicate the next steps and the possible impacts on people, place and the environment.

Inquiry: Why might the USA be denying the Palestinian Delegation entry into the USA to attend the UN general assembly? Might it be time to move the UN General Assembly out of New York permanently?

Activity: Conduct research on the UN General Assembly to better understand its purpose. The USA  has denied visas to the Palestinian delegation to the United Nations ahead of the next General Assembly that will discuss Palestinian statehood.  Why might the USA be doing this? Conduct an Issue Analysis to understand the stakeholders in this issue and develop a possible solution. Create a spatial journal to map stakeholder. Create story map to help share your possible solution to this issue.

Activity: Collect data on the damage from the recent earthquake. Explore the path to the civil war. Use the issue analysis to gain increased insight on the stakeholders involved. Create a spatial journal to map out the stakeholders in the region. Develop a plan to help get aid to the citizens that need help. Create a story map to share a possible plan.

Gather information on how colonization of Sudan may have contributed to this conflict. Create a spatial journal to better understand the conflict. Create an action plan and communicate the results in a Story Map.

Activity: Collect data on the conflict. Examine conflict using this interactive map and this story map. Identify the stakeholders and their position on the issue using the issue analysis organizer and map them out in a spatial journal. Develop a potential ceasefire agreement using the action plan tool and create a story map to communicate to the stakeholders.
