Inquiry: How might this "protected" land actually be protected? Why might protecting the Rouge National Park be important for Canadians?

Activity: Collect data on the Greenbelt development and Rouge National Park. Create a spatial journal to might out the greenbelt and the proposed development (i.e. Greenbelt Map). Conduct an issue analysis to better understand the roles, values and beliefs of the people and organizations that might be impacted including species at risk. Evaluate urban growth (build up) and urban sprawl. Develop an action plan that might be better at accommodating Toronto's growing population and still protect the environment. Communicate via story map to the appropriate stakeholders.
