Concepts of Geographic Thinking: Geographic Perspective, Patterns and Trends

Inquiry: Why might Toronto have allowed a celebration of a Country committing Genocide while barraciding the people representing the targeted? 

Activity: Using the Geographic Inquiry model to gather data and statistics about the genocide Israel is conducting in Palestine. Develop an understand of International Humanitarian Law  and how it may apply to genocide and supporting genocide. Complete an issue analysis of  the data to understand the issue by utilizing the geographic perspective. Create a spatial journal of the events that happened in Toronto related to the walk. Develop an action plan on how to deal with potential future events and communicate with an appropriate audience via story map.

 Inquiry: What might be needed for other countries to follow the United Nations lead in this matte? How should Canada respond to the blacklisting of Israel and Russia?

Activity: Collect information on International Human Rights and War Crimes. Examine past, documented war crimes and complete an issue analysis to gain insight from the stakeholders perspectives. Create a spatial journal to highlight significant information about the rational to blacklist these two countries. Develop an action plan that might be able to resolve the situation and communicate via story map.
