The Haiti earthquake five
years on - then and now
On 12 January 2010, a 7.3 magnitude earthquake
struck Haiti with more than 50 aftershocks following over the next 12 days. The
disaster left more than 220,000 people dead and over 300,000 injured and
resulted in a humanitarian crisis
