Squids and octopuses — the ‘weeds of the sea’ — are on the rise
Concepts of Thinking: Interrelationships, Patterns and Trends, Spatial Significance
Inquiry: Why might the "weeds of the sea" be on the increase? How might this increase impact local environments/human activities?
Activity: Create a spatial journal of the squids and octopuses. Add to it human activity in these regions. Conduct an issue analysis to help determine impacts of this increase in squid and octopus population. How might different groups deal with this increase? Communicate results via story map.
